Another class turned minigame. In Tug o’ War, the single player gets a Bowser suit (and extra strength) and stands on the left side of the ravine. Team of three is one the right side. Each side holds one end of rope.

When the minigame starts, all players start tugging on the rope as they try to yank the opposite side toward them. Pull them enough and they’ll fall into the ravine. If the solo player fall in, they’ll have to give away 15 coins to pay the other players five coins each. If the team falls in, they’ll each pay five coins to the solo player.

Landing on a Bowser Space and activating the Bowser’s Tug o’ War event will have you playing this minigame but whoever loses has to Bowser coins.

This minigame was remade in Mario Party: The Top 100 and Mario Party Superstars.
