Coin Block Bash is a 1-vs-3 minigame from the original Mario Party on the Nintendo 64.
Overview
A: Overhead swing
B: Sideways swing
A: Jump
B: Attack
Another coin minigame where you’re smashing blocks to release coins. Unlike Coin Block Blitz, these are brick blocks, which means coins will only release once the entire block is destroyed. Each brick block requires 10 hits to break, but if you have the hammer, it only requires one hit. Inside is either a single coin or a money bag, which is worth five coins.
At the start of the minigame, the solo player starts with the hammer. The team of three can simply jump to hit the blocks, but they can also smack the solo player to have them drop the hammer. Once on the ground, the hammer is free for anyone to take! The player holding the hammer can also whack other players so hard they’ll hit the opposite side of the arena.

- The best way to collect coins is to wait for the hammer player to break a block, as there is a lot of end-lag on their end.
