Cast Aways is a 4-Player minigame from the original Mario Party on the Nintendo 64.
Overview
Control Stick (Rotate): Reel line in
Coin minigame! Throw your glove out into the water and retrieve the coins, money bags, and chests that float by. A coin is worth a single coin, naturally, a money bag is worth five coins, and a chest is worth 10 coins.
There are three rows of moving cash. The amount you tilt your control stick determines which row you’ll throw your glove at. After your glove latches onto an item, you’ll have to reel it back in by rotating the control stick. Careful with your palms! If you miss the item, you’ll still have to reel your line back in.
This minigame was remade in Mario Party Superstars.
