Within each player’s life-size picture frame are 25 tiles, and they will only flip over if the Koopa Shell rolls over the tile. You’re also on the picture frame, and you can walk along the edges to tilt the frame and direct the Koopa Shell where to go.

Be the first to uncover all 25 of your tiles to reveal the picture underneath and win the minigame. If you get hit by the Koopa Shell, you’ll be stunned for a brief moment!

A version of this minigame returns in Mario Party 2, and it was also remade in Mario Party Superstars.

  • Do the outer part first by running around the square not too quickly, then finish the middle off by precisely walking/jumping to guide the shell.
