Treasure Divers is a 4-Player minigame from the original Mario Party on the Nintendo 64.
Overview
A: Swim
Treasure chests line the ocean floor, and it’s your job to scoop them up and bring them up to the surface. Inside are coins, and you’ll get to keep whatever you collect once the minigame wraps up.
With 90 seconds on the clock, you’ll have plenty of time to claim the chests. Well, as long as your opponents don’t get to them first. The two Bloopers and the Sushi the shark will also serve as obstacles. If you hit one of the enemies on your way back up, you’ll drop the chest and it’ll float back down.
The bigger the treasure chest, the more coins it holds! The bigger chests will make you slower swimming back up to. The smallest chest has a single coin, the medium-sized chest has three coins, and the largest chest holds five coins.
Treasure Divers returns as a remade minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree.

- The bigger a treasure chest is, the more coins it holds! Feel free to block someone at the middle level to stop them from getting some air or make them collide with an enemy… or just wait below them for them to screw up to steal their treasure chest!
