Piranha’s Pursuit is a 1-vs-3 minigame from the original Mario Party on the Nintendo 64.

As the solo player, skateboard away from the Piranha Plant and reach the goal without getting bit by the plant to win. Meanwhile, the the team of three sits atop a cloud that follows the Piranha Plant. Ground pounding the cloud causes it to rain, which makes it grow larger and faster.

If the solo player wins, the team of three will have to hand over five coins each to the solo player. If the team wins, the solo player will be out 15 coins that’ll be split among the team.

This minigame was remade in Mario Party: The Top 100 and Mario Party Superstars.
