NOTE: To get to the Deep Woods, jump off into the abyss at any point in the Wooded Kingdom!

21. Love in the Forest Ruins

Pass the Forest Charging Station and you should see an area littered with Goombas. Goombette waits up on a high platform so it’s your job to match her height. Capture the short Goomba Tower and start jumping on the others to form a tower that’s tall enough. Met her eye to eye (or higher!) for the Power Moon.

22. Inside a Rock in the Forest

Go to the Forest Charging Station Checkpoint and capture a Sherm. Roll off the cliff on the right to drop down to the starting area. Break down the weak blocks near the Odyssey to reveal a Power Moon.

23. Shopping in Steam Gardens

The Crazy Cap shop near the Odyssey has a Power Moon on sale for 100 coins.

24. Nut Planted in the Tower

As you go up the Sky Garden Tower, capture an Uproot and hit the second P Switch. As you walk along the flower path, take note of an alcove with a nut. Inside is the Power Moon!

25. Stretching Your Legs

At the very top of the inside of the Sky Garden Tower is a Power Moon. Get an Uproot up there and shake your controller to get that extra boost to reach it.

26. Spinning-Platforms Treasure

Available after you complete the main missions in the Wooded Kingdom. Go to the Observation Deck and use Glydon to glide over to the wall near the entrance to the Secret Flower Field. Look over the edge to see a platform sticking out of the corner. Drop down to it and keep getting lower from platform to platform.

Going to the left, jump onto the spinning platform and wait for the two platforms to align before long jumping. For the second platform, get on the top of the platform so you can reach the pipe on the left. Inside is a nut that holds the Power Moon!

27. Make the Secret Flower Field Bloom

Available after you complete the main missions in the Wooded Kingdom. Go back the the Secret Flower Field where you fought Torkdrift. Spin Cappy around all the flowers in the center to have a Power Moon appear.

28. Rolling Rock in the Deep Woods

Near the right side of the Deep Woods and along the outer edge is a lone rock. Whack a few times to reveal a Power Moon.

29. Glowing in the Deep Woods

In the Deep Woods there is a pond where you can find a lone scarecrow. Throw Cappy on, then make a run for the Power Moon. This one isn’t visible right from where you’re standing. Start running up the hill and you should see the moon.

30. Past the Peculiar Pipes

There is a tall hill in the Deep Woods with a pipe at the top. Enter to get warped to an area with two more pipes. You have to enter the correct pipe to advance to the next stage. After entering the very first pipe, go rightleft, and bottom left. This will take you back to the start where a Power Moon has spawned.

31. By the Babbling Brook in the Deep Woods

On the left side of the Deep Woods is a series of weak blocks. Get the T-Rex to smash into them, then hit the glowing spot with a ground pound to have the Power Moon appear.

32. The Hard Rock in Deep Woods

Near the giant tree in the center of the Deep Woods is a group of weak blocks ready to be destroyed. Find the T-Rex roaming the area and knock the tiny hat off its head. This will let you capture it! Break the blocks to reveal a glowing spot in the floor. Ground pound for the Power Moon! You can also have the T-Rex ram into the blocks while its chasing you.

33. A Treasure Made from Coins

Go into the Deep Woods and find a Coin Coffer near the center. You can usually see them when they’re invisible as they distort your visuals a bit. Capture it and bring it to the pond. I hope you’ve got 500 coins to spare because you’re going to have to shoot all of them at the little plant sprout nearby.

34. Beneath the Roots of the Moving Tree

In the Deep Woods, look on the right side for an odd looking tree. Capture it and move it to reveal a glowing spot where it once stood. Ground pound to reveal the Power Moon!

35. Deep Woods Treasure Trap

Go to the giant tree in the center of the Deep Woods and look for a pipe at its base. Enter inside and hit the treasure chests in the following order to get the Power Moon to appear: center, leftright.

36. Exploring for Treasure

Purchase the Explorer Hat for 5 Purple Coins at the Crazy Cap shop along with the Explorer Outfit for 10. Jump down into the Deep Woods and follow the stream to a waterfall. Speak with the nearby Steam Gardener and it’ll unlock the door thanks to your outfit. Inside is a treasure chest with a Power Moon inside.

37. Wooded Kingdom Timer Challenge 1

Available after you complete the main missions in the Wooded Kingdom. Go to the Iron Road: Halfway Point Checkpoint to find a scarecrow. This one is really easy if you do it right. Run to the pole and jump on, as soon as Mario swings to the other side, jump and keep this momentum going. When it’s time to jump in the other direction, let Mario swing an additional time before jumping. Do this quickly and you’ll get the Power Moon with ease.

38. Wooded Kingdom Timer Challenge 2

Available after you complete the main missions in the Wooded Kingdom. Go to the Forest Charging Station and throw Cappy onto the scarecrow on the left station. Jump on the left station and do a backflip onto the blue platform. This will give you the extra time you need to get onto the yellow platform on the right.

39. Flooding Pipeway

At the start of the old and rusted Iron Road area is a pond. Hop inside to find a secret warp pipe.

The water will rise up and down in this side scrolling area, so be ready to time your movements based on the moving Fuzzies. Before you reach the end where the Power Moon awaits, make sure to grab the secret hidden Power Moon 40.

40. Flooding Pipeway Ceiling Secret

In the Flooding Pipeway, reach the area where water can’t rise up to and where a duo of Fuzzies move on either side of you. Look up to see an opening in the ceiling. Do a side flip to reach the wall above and wall jump up to the star.
