41. Moon Shards Under Seige

Look for a stationary taxi on Main Street. Notice something strange on top? Let Cappy capture the taxi, then push forward to have it zoom right into a secret level.

Capture the first Sherm you see. You’ll be sticking with this guy for the rest of the level so you better get comfortable! Destroy the other Sherm and ride up the slope to get the first moon shard. Drop down to the next level and destroy the taxi for the second shard. Ride up the stairs to find a Sherm on top of a wall. The third shard is to the left of the wall. This is also the spot to get Power Moon 42. Before going up again, turn around and fire at the Sherm behind you. Shoot at the invisible blocks before it to form a path, then move over there and look for the fourth shard you can shoot at. Go up that final slope to find the fifth shard at the end.

42. Sharpshooting Under Siege

As you’re getting Power Moon 41, approach the area where you get the third moon shard. As a Sherm, look up towards the top of the building in front of you too three weak metal blocks. Shoot at them to have the Power Moon appear. This will move it to a location nearby. This can be tricky to get, but one option is to leave Sherm and throw Cappy off the edge. Jump onto Cappy and use him as a second jump, then dive to the Power Moon.

43. Inside the Rotating Maze

Near the Crazy Cap shop is a mysterious looking manhole. Capture it and move it to the side. Hop inside to find a secret level.

The level is pretty straightforward and the five moon shards you need aren’t too hard to find. Push the rotating yellow walls with Cappy. Keep in mind you can push some walls without being on them so you can keep standing in the same place. Kill the Piranha Plants by throwing Cappy and then giving them a swift kick.

44. Outside the Rotating Maze

When you reach the secret level to get Power Moon 44, don’t go inside the glass puzzle area. Instead, do a triple jump onto the top of the glass and run to the other end. There you’ll find a Power Moon and a flower spring to get you back up.

45. Hanging from a High-Rise

After you collect Power Moon 37 in the building near the Outdoor Cafe, enter the green pipe to get transported to a rooftop off in the distance. Capture the rocket and blast off to a secret level!

This one is all about those pole swings. As you swing, make sure to push left and right on the control stick to keep the momentum going. Some of the poles move, so be patient and wait for it to be closest before jumping. Power Moon 46 can be snagged at the end of the first section. The second section has the moving platforms with four poles each. Just be patient and wait for them to stop before jumping. The Power Moon is at the end!

46. Vaulting Up a High-Rise

When you reach the last pole in the first section, don’t jump off to safety on the right. Instead, let the pole rise upward. From there, jump onto the left wall and wall jump up to the next pole. Do this again and you should reach the Power Moon at the top!

47. Bullet Billding

Walk towards City Hall on Main Street and keep an eye out for a large alley on the right. Head down it to find an opened door. Inside is a secret level.

Jump onto the striped poles and turn your back to the pole you want to jump to. At the top, take the opportunity to collect Power Moon 48. Climb the next set of poles while avoiding the incoming Bullet Bills. Move up and down the pole if you’re having trouble. The Power Moon is near the exit.

48. One Man’s Trash…

Enter the secret level that will get you Power Moon 47. After you climb the first set of striped poles, capture a Bullet Bill and ride it over to the lone dumpster near the entrance. Bust it open to reveal the Power Moon.

49. Motor Scooter: Escape

Near the Outdoor Cafe area is a triangle shaped building with an open door on the corner. Head inside for an interesting secret level…

Hop on the moped and start riding. Peaceful, right? WRONG. A T-Rex will appear and start running your way. No, you can’t capture it and no you cannot turn around. Keep driving and move to the left and right if the T-Rex tries to take a bite. When you see crates, don’t move over, just jump over or on top. This will be useful for getting the Purple Coins and the extra Power Moon. Make it to the end to get your prize!

50. Big Jump: Escape!

Near the very end of the T-Rex chase scene is a group of crates. Jump on top and get ready to jump onto a second crate to get the Power Moon!

51. Secret Path to New Donk City!

There’s a secret painting in the Sand Kingdom that will let you travel to the Isolated Rooftop in New Donk City. The painting is on a pillar near Jaxi Ruins and the Inverted Pyramid. Jump through the painting and the Power Moon will be waiting for you!

52. A Tourist in the Metro Kingdom!

Available after completing all the main missions in the Metro Kingdom. Go the Main Street Entrance Checkpoint and speak to the Tostarenan near the taxi for a Power Moon!

53. Found with Metro Kingdom Art

The triangle shaped building near City Hall has some art on the window of the second to top floor. The art shows a spot in the Lake Kingdom. Head back there and enter the Water Plaza. On the top floor, ground pound the area shown in the image to get the Power Moon!
