21. Shopping in Shiveria
Enter the Crazy Cap shop in Shiveria Town and purchase this Power Moon for 100 coins. Chump change!
22. Walking on Ice!
Head over to the Corner of the Freezing Sea Checkpoint and enter the door nearby. Time to walk along the path again! Memorize the path and remember key features in each of the three corners. As you walk, ground pound at the end to stop Mario from slipping around. Get 80 points or more to win a Power Moon!
23. Snowline Circuit Class S
Basically, replay the Bound Bowl Gran Prix. Get first place again to win the Power Moon! Look at Power Moon 5 for extra tips.
24. Dashing Over Cold Water!
A small island on the left side has a secret door hidden in the snow. Enter for a secret level!
Oh boy, I hope you’re ready to test your patience. This secret level is all about the Rocket Flower. The goal is to reach the end while moving along the ice water all while collecting as many Rocket Flowers as you can. One thing you may not have realized is that you only have to move left and right, there is no need to push up or down. Let Mario go speeding through and only push left and right when needed. You also need to capture Rocket Flowers as you go to keep the running going. Position yourself in front of an upcoming flower and only throw Cappy when you are not touching the control stick. Any slight movement can completely mess you up! Make it to the end for the Power Moon! Pass the Power Moon if you want to also get Power Moon 25.
25. Dashing Above and Beyond!
So the original Rocket Flower level wasn’t enough? As you approach the end, make sure you’ve grabbed a few extra flowers and run past the Power Moon. Run up the last slope and weave in and out of the walls. At the top is a secret Power Moon!
26. Jump ‘n’ Swim in the Freezing Water
Available after completing all the main missions in the Snow Kingdom. From the Odyssey, pass the Ty-foo and drop down to the area below. Wrap around the ice to find a scarecrow that will open the door it’s next to.
Welcome to the secret level! Staying in the ice water for too long will cause you to lose health. To get through the level you’ll be jumping into blocks of water that move you further towards the Power Moon. At the start, jump into the water and swim up as the water moves up. Jump on top of the water blocks to get to the top. Go through the inside of the wall and use the water blocks to keep moving up. Power Moon 27 is in this area. In the last section, wait for the big water block to start moving up before hoping in.
27. Freezing Water Near the Ceiling
Before you jump into the last water block on your way to Power Moon 27, jump on the top of the block, then hop to the pole. Swing from pole to pole until you reach the secret Power Moon!
28. Blowing and Sliding
Below the Odyssey is an area with a wooden block. Go over to the Above the Ice Wall Checkpoint and capture the Ty-foo in that area. Float over to the wooden block and blow on it to reveal a door.
Inside is a puzzle where you’ll use the Ty-foo to blow two blocks into the correct position. If you mess up, just leave the room and re-enter. Start by pushing the red block to the left, then up to secure it in place. The green block you can easily mess up if you accidentally blow it to the wrong direction. From its starting point, move the green block to the left, then down, then right, and finally up. This will form stairs to the Power Moon!
29. Moon Shards in the Cold Room
Go to the Crazy Cap shop and purchase the Snow Hood for 5 coins and the Snow Outfit for 10. Go to the main area of Shiveria Town and climb the pole on the right to get to the second floor. Speak with the Shiverian upstairs to get access to the door.
Enter 2D mode and collect all five moon shards to have the Power Moon appear in the center of the room. The first two can be easily obtained by simple jumps. For the third one, wait for the row of Spinies to pass, then follow them over to the third shard. Break the blocks to escape. For the fourth one, hit the Koopa Troopa and send it flying to take out all the Spinies. Use this time to grab the fourth shard. Fifth shard is at the end before returning to the pipe. Power Moon 30 can be obtained here too.
30. Slip Behind the Ice
As you’re getting Power Moon 29, get to the fifth moon shard above the warp pipe and jump to find a hidden block. Use it to jump up to the area above. Dash to the left and jump for the Power Moon!
31. Spinning Above the Clouds
Available after completing all the main missions in the Snow Kingdom. Grab the nut encased in ice near the Above the Wall Checkpoint and start carrying it back to the higher area near the Odyssey. Unplug the whirlwind if you haven’t already. Plant the seed in the plot to grow a giant beanstalk that will take you to a secret level.
This level is pretty straightforward. Bounce off the flower springs as you let the whirlwinds blow you up in the air. Keep landing on the flowers to get air. Make it to the end to get the Power Moon!
33. Secret Path to Shiveria!
As you’re getting Power Moon 31, get to the whirlwind that takes you even higher up and float to the left to see another flower spring. Bounce on it to get the Power Moon. Since you stop spinning after grabbing the Power Moon, let Mario land straight down and back onto the flower spring.
34. Found with Snow Kingdom Art
There is a piece of art you can view in Shiveria Town the depicts a Power Moon location in the Lost Kingdom. Head over there and go left after crossing the first bridge. Pass the Tropical Wiggler and jump onto the root of the first tree. Ground pound to reveal the Power Moon!
