Unlike every other world in our Super Mario Sunshine walkthrough, Corona Mountain has a total of 10 blue coins to collect. Some of these despicably placed blue coins can be found in plain site while others require a little more luck to find. And maybe a guide! Blue coins can be taken to the racoon in Delfino Plaza where you can trade 10 blue coins for a Shine Sprite.

Blue Coin 1
This one is simple, just get past the first set of spike platforms and you’ll find it on the safe chunk of land.
Blue Coin 2
All nine remaining Blue Coins surround the final cloud area of Corona Mountain and you’ll need the mud boat to grab them all. We recommend going left and circling the area clockwise as this path is easier to maneuver between the magma pillars. Watch our video guide for exact movements!
Boat controls! Spray in the opposite direction of where you want to go to use yourself as a propeller. That means if you want to move forward, have Mario face directly towards the back of the boat and spray. The amount you spray will determine your speed! If you want to take it easy, feel free to press and let go of the spray button to shoot out bursts of water to go a bit slower. Your placement on the boat matters too. The closer you are to an edge while spraying past it, the faster you’ll move in the opposite direction.
