Like every world in our Super Mario Sunshine walkthrough, Noki Bay has a total of 30 blue coins to collect. Some of these despicably placed blue coins can be found in plain site while others require a little more luck to find. And maybe a guide! Blue coins can be taken to the racoon in Delfino Plaza where you can trade 10 blue coins for a Shine Sprite.

We’ll start with the cliffs on the left and end on the cliffs on the right! Some only appear in certain episodes so we recommend doing your Blue Coin search in Episode 6!

Blue Coin 1
Along the 50 coin path above the water. Depending on the level, you’ll either need a boat to reach it to avoid the poisonous water or you simply need to hover over it.
Blue Coin 2
Just like Blue Coin 1, it’s above the water but closer to the cliff on the left.
Blue Coin 3
Head over to the spot where the waterfall meets the bay water. See the line of coins? Swim down and follow it to find your Blue Coin.
Blue Coin 4
Head over to the right side of the level and start scaling the cliffs. When you see the brick platforms on the right, do a Side Somersault and wall jump to reach the them. Use the spring pad to keep going up. Grab the Rocket Nozzle and use it to reach the Blue Coin at the top of line of coins.
Blue Coin 5
In the same place as Blue Coin 4, into the little cubby above the Rocket Nozzle crate. Be aware, you’ll get punched out and thrown into the water below after you grab it!
Blue Coin 6
Reach the first vase pulley and grab onto the nearby ledge. Slowly make your way over the to the left side and spray the wall to reveal a hole with the Blue Coin.
Blue Coin 7
Continue along the next ledge after Blue Coin 6 and reach the next hole. You can slowly move towards the ledge to avoid running off. Halfway to the hole, climb into the small cubby so Mario can rest and make it the entire way. Use your Rocket Nozzle or wall jump to reach the Blue Coin inside the upward tunnel.
Blue Coin 8
Another ledge to grab onto past the second vase pulley. Get to the end and spray the wall for another Blue Coin.
Blue Coin 9
Get to the top of the waterfall and look for the alcove underneath the portion of the land that sticks out. Jump off and hover over to find a Blue Coin next time to the Turbo Nozzle crate.
Blue Coin 10
Episodes 2 through 8 only! These wall passageways will not open during the first episode. Spray the first wall leading up to the Gooper Blooper battle and look for the Blue Coin in the center.
Blue Coin 11
Episodes 2 through 8 only! After Blue Coin 10, spray the next set of wall passageways and look for the Blue Coin inside the little cubby at the top. Jump and hover to reach it.
Blue Coin 12
Episodes 2 through 8 only! Inside the ancient king’s tomb room, spray the large orange vase.
Blue Coin 13
Episodes 2 through 8 only! Just like Blue Coin 12, spray the other large vase.
Blue Coin 14
In the area with path going towards the Gooper Blooper battle, look for a graffiti M on the cliff wall.
Blue Coin 15
A few ways to get this one. Jump off the higher area and use the Rocket Nozzle (found high up within the cliffs on the right) to reach the square hole. You can also climb on top of the purple shell tower and hover from there.
Blue Coin 16
Close to Blue Coin 15 is another alcove up above. Rocket on up there! You can also reach this spot by using the tunnel behind the Blue Coin. The entrance can be found on the left in the hidden vertical passage that you can reveal by spraying water.
Blue Coin 17
Go the left side of the level and wall jump up to the tunnel that takes you to the left most section. Enter the next hole to blast yourself to the top, then drop down to a seemingly empty ledge. Spray it with water to reveal the Blue Coin.
Blue Coin 18
From Blue Coin 17, drop down to the next ledge and spray the tiles to reveal your Blue Coin. You can also reach this spot by using the tunnel behind the Blue Coin. The entrance can be found on the right in the hidden vertical passage that you can reveal by spraying water.
Blue Coin 19
Return to the top of the left cliff where the Gold Bird was originally found. From there, jump over to the series of tiles on the right and spray them to reveal two Blue Coins.
Blue Coin 20
Just like Blue Coin 19, spray the tiles to reveal a Blue Coin.
Blue Coin 21
In the same area as the previous Blue Coins, drop down to the ledge with a tunnel and two tiles. Spray them to reveal the Blue Coin.
Blue Coin 22
Next is the small ledge with just two tiles. Spray the left tile to find your Blue Coin.
Blue Coin 23
Just to the left of Blue Coin 22 is a vertically long ledge. Spray to reveal yet another Blue Coin!
Blue Coin 24
And finally to the right of Blue Coins 22 and 23 is an alcove with a Blue Coin in plain sight. Hover or rocket over there!
Blue Coin 25
Episodes 6 only! Look for a red circle near the right side of the level. Spray it, then quickly make your way over to the boat rental hut and snag the Blue Coin before time runs out. Use the Turbo Nozzle (found in an alcove near the top of the waterfall) to speed your way across the water!
Blue Coin 26
Episodes 6 only! Just like Blue Coin 25 but start at the red circle near the boat rental hut.
Blue Coin 27
Episodes 4 and 8 only! Enter the underwater Noki city by jumping into the waterfall. There are four Blue Coins here and each can be found at the top of different towers. It’s a bit hard to describe the exact tower location in text so please use the image above!
Blue Coin 28
Episodes 4 and 8 only! Just like Blue Coin 27, look at the top of the tall towers in the underwater Noki city.
Blue Coin 29
Episodes 4 and 8 only! Just like Blue Coin 28, look at the top of the tall towers in the underwater Noki city.
Blue Coin 30
Episodes 4 and 8 only! Just like Blue Coin 29, look at the top of the tall towers in the underwater Noki city.
