It's possible that the cast for MP3DS is going to be dull E. Gadd, but I would seriously expect at least one Newcomer. I am PRAYING it'll be Diddy Kong, I love him to pieces!

I hope the characters that aren't so random.
Do we want to assume that all the playable characters appear on the box art? Mario Party 9 had it that way.
I would think so. So from the list of characters on the box art, I would guess the following:
Mario
Luigi
Peach
Yoshi
Wario
Waluigi
Daisy
Toad
Bowser Jr.
Kamek
And if they go with 12 characters,
Boo
Rosalina
I'm surprised they dropped Birdo (judging off the box art).

Glad to see we have 14 characters. Hopefully Wii U gets more toward 20 once that comes out. A bit disappointed we have no Birdo or Toadette this time. Somewhat sad no Dry Bones either.

SuperZambezi you might wanna update your list on Mario Party: Island Tour. For example, it still says MP3DS and the New Characters need to be added, plus the release date! But that's if you wanna do it I have no control over you what so ever.

Personally I think they're going with an MP5 roster but switching Koopa Kid with Bowser Jr. Odd, very much so, but it'd be nice to see the homage. Highly doubt Shy Guys are playable (I think they're board hosts or something since those cards Luigi is holding are not the standard ones like what Waluigi is), Flutter is too obscure not to mention is more associated with granting Star transportation, and Kamek is on his broom which makes me think enemy. I don't expect Rosalina to be playable

If true, then thank GOD for Boo being playable and kicking out Birdo! Mario regulars are expected, but the return of Boo is awesome! Bowser Jr. joins the roster, too, as well! So yeah, H-J was right about Nintendo giving Mario Party: Island Tour the Mario Party 5 roster. Could this also mean Donkey Kong being a playable character in one mode, just like Mario Party 5 was done?
