I'm going to go ahead and say that Boo and Bowser Jr. are the only unlockable characters. No more. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I think that Kamek and Shy Guy will make a return as unlockable characters.
Possible, but I think that's highly unlikely. Kamek has its own board to host, and so does Shy Guy. Plus, Shy Guy have their masks on some of the cards in the Shy Guy's Shuffle City, so they're not likely to be playable.Sashe2705 said:

I knew it. The original images that Nintendo Everything had for the characters were all playable. Those are definitely the ten playable characters, including Bowser Jr..
Hmmm... I guess it will be hard to don't keep it spoiled with this (only put the cursor if you don't mind been spoiled at the moment!), but oh well. But yeah, that's awesome to see a new character playable!
Bowser really should have had unique lines when he saw it was Junior challenging him...

The 3D World character is a spoiler, and even that is not that big of a deal.
We all kind of expected it. The character select screen doesn't look like it's going to fit any more characters.

I really hate Junior, so I guess now I have someone else to beat up as a Computer besides Yoshi.
It's so ironic seeing Bowser Jr. going up against his own father, and with that Green Toad tagging along knowing how odd this will be when they finally meet at the top. XD

You took the words right out of my mouth; I never wanted to admit it because that would be a repeat of that awkward feeling we all got playing MP5 for the first time, but now I have to let the cat out of the bag with the confirmed fact out and I'm fine with it. On the spoiler thing, now the question is, is he available from the start; because it's pretty safe to say that Boo is? As for playtime, I might use him sometimes for novelty, the fun of it, and Point requirements, but I mean, come on, you've got Luigi, Toad, Boo, and everyone else, so...Yoshiman222 said:
