I'm wondering though, did anybody else here actually go to it?
there were like 8 locations in select metro areas which was really stupid. no point in actually doing it unless you lived within a 10 minute walk from the best buy's.
"No point?" I drove for an hour at 6 in the morning for it! Some people started camping out the afternoon before!

I know! I don't live even 200 miles from any of those and I live in the US! (At least I don't think so)
if you live near san francisco, los angeles, minneapolis, seattle, chicago, miami, new york or dallas, you were close to a location. otherwise, you were probably too far.

it's stupid because they had 30 or so locations when they did this in the 1990s.

an hour is nothing. most people are 10 hours away from the location.

I live a few hours from Seattle, but from what I read on the sign-ups online it's for US RESIDENTS ONLY.
Meaning I coulda traveled the boarder if I wanted to try but then problems would start to come because I live up here.

Yes  I'm still goina complain about that.

The one Best-Buy store in MN is only about 25 minutes away from me but I never bothered to go. :p
Why not? It was awesome.

No real interest tbh. Sitting in a line for hours again to play a game for 5 minutes does not sound enjoyable to me, even if this time it meant I had a shot of going to E3.
I knew I had no chance at going to E3, I did it for "real-life XP."
