Nintendo 3DS

[Chubbo1793]

Here's a link to the live EU conference today: http://live.nintendo3ds.nintendo-europe.com/

I don't know if there is a US one, but I've been watching this one.

[Espeonvision]

In North America, the 3DS will be released on the 27th March and will cost $249.99
In Europe, the 3DS will be released on the 25th March, the price was not specified.

Sunday, March 27, 2011, and $249.99...

Hmm, just in time foer me to get pumped playing over Spring Break! If there are any good launch titles, that is...

[Relxhive35]

Australia might get it in March 31st

[CaptainShyguy]

Cool, it will be release soon, but I will probably get it for summer instead.

Source? We can't tell if that's true or not without your source...

Woo, each 3DS has a single friend code instead of millions of friend code for different games. A (small) step froward I guess.

I know, I saw it on TNR before.

It's a big plus here, but yeah, it's still a small improvement. It makes things a lot easier now.

Great, that's good to hear, one friend code is enough.

Hey guys, I just found a link about the release date and price(for Europe and North America) http://wegotthiscovered.com/2011/01/19/nintendo-3ds-release-date-and-price-announced-for-north-america-and-europe/

[Espeonvision]

Well, converting the confirmed US price into Pound Sterling, give a price of about £188, which I highly doubt will be the actual price, I think it will cost over £200 in the UK.

The 3DS looks simply beautiful. :3 All the features on it and the abilities it has makes it the most powerful handheld ever made for our current world of technology. AKA best video game handheld of all time. =P

[Shaby]

I REALLY want it! NOW!

It's so damn beautiful! T_T

Imagine RE5's 3D game in 3D.

BULLETS FLYIN' IN YOUR FACE.

[H-J Kaabii]

Nifty. Though I think the Start/Select/Home buttons are too big IMO =P

^You wish. Let's hope the images of bullets hitting you don't make you convulse and hallucinate. >_>

Re price, I'm going to guess a price of about $AUD300.00 for release. >_> Too darn expensive.

Your release dates.

[Vipsoccermaster]

Agreeing with what you said, it is indeed beautiful.

Now, even after the March 27 release, even though it would be sense for me to get this thing so that I could play it over Spring Break. But, the launch games is the problem, so I guess it might be best to wait. I should still try to get a copy as soon as it is released, so I don't have to worry about them being sold out quickly. But we'll see what happens as we get into late March.

[Espeonvision]

Play.com in the UK has a selling price for the 3DS of £219.99, although the actual RRP hasn't been announced yet.

[Chubbo1793]

It looks great. I do agree that the Home, Start, and Select button are too big. The price is better than I expected. I remember having to pay $200+tax for my blue L.E. PSP. As long as it's not $300, I'm good.

[Troll]

I'm waiting to purchase it because of the weak launch titles. In fact I might wait until Mario Kart or Paper Mario comes out.
