Just got back from the WiiU Experience with SS17 and my brother. We had an awesome time, I was the very first civilian in Colorado to demo New Super Mario Bros. U. ;D My brother and SS17 were the first civilians to play Rayman Legends, along with being the first to play at all (excluding the representatives). If you can't tell, we were the first people in line and surprisingly, only about 25% of the people there were kids. Here's a couple pics; one with our badges, minus my brother's, and one of the NSMBU demos:
I gotta say, the Gamepad is very comfortable and sleek; I didn't really get a chance to use the WiiU Classic Controller Pro. I demoed NSMBU, Nintendo Land's DK Crash Course, and Rayman Legends. NSMBU was beautiful with all the vibrant colors and pretty addicting to play. I loved the squirrel suit <3. I participated in the DK Crash Course competition which was very fun, but pretty challenging on my first (and only) go. The course is massive. With Rayman Legends, it was fast-paced and very fun to play. I played the speed-run level using the GamePad. My brother's not much into Nintendo, or gaming in general, but after playing Rayman, his opinion has swayed.
