January 1 is the "Feast of the Circumcision," a traditional Jewish event, so it is logical that Jesus would have been a participant in this feast. Does this have anything to do with the ball-dropping ceremony in Times Square?

The character called El Caganer is often hidden in nativity scenes for children to find. Other pooping figures include Tió de Nadal, who is said to poop on Christmas Eve to produce "candy" for children. Who knew poop could be so festive!

It seems unbelievable, but it's true. As of January 1, 2015, Lyon Gardner Tyler and Harrison Ruffin Tyler were still alive, 175 years after their grandfather assumed the nation's highest office! Maybe "only the good die young," but it's also good not to die young!

Apparently, Humpty Dumpty was the name of a large cannon that sat on a wall of Colchester Castle during the English Civil War. The Parliamentarians destroyed the cannon, and the opposing army called Cavaliers, or the King's men, could not put it back together again. This story sounds plausible, but "eggsactly" what happened; no one knows!

A baby born on an airplane flying over the United States can automatically claim U.S. citizenship, no matter what the nationality of the parents.​
 
That depends. You technically can but it would be such a legal dispute between the airline's country of origin and nationality of the two parents. I guess for the sake of the question "yes".
 
FACT

The U.S. has unconditional birthright citizenship for persons born in America, and that includes the territorial airspace. There are not "airorphans" in America!
