New Super Mario Bros. 2

[Yoshiman222]

Now that will be something to see!
I'm definitely going to enable SpotPass and watch this!

...aww, this is probably the only reason why it will connect to the Nintendo Network... I was at least hoping for others coin totals for Coin Rush...

[saxprodigee]

this game keeps on getting better. The coins seem to finally make sense now that we are coming up to release. Slowly :what:

I just... can't seem to get excited about the game. I guess the focus on coin collecting just immeadiatly shut off all my intreast in the game for some reason. >.<

[AtomicShyguy]

I might get this next month since I only have 3 3DS games. After getting this, it'll be PM and LM.

Yeah, I have SM3DL, MK7 and MTO. And I'm planning on those games too.

I feel like Plum here, expect I am not trying to get exicted about this game. I hope it will be fun, but I still feel like it's going to be the same experince as NSMB and NSMBWii.

Storyline confirmed: Mario and Luigi go on a coin hunt in the sky, they float down to the ground and the Koopa Clown Car crashes next to them with the princess, and they fly away...

Isn't it SO original?

[Toadette]

Mario games hardly ever have original plots, the things that keep me coming back are the gimmicks, the new powerups, new enemies and how they execute the level designs.

[AtomicShyguy]

PLOT TWIST

No. Yeah, it's the coins that are most interesting part about this game.

I saw the intro video nothing new as always.

I like how GenGame made a whole list of things about new super mario bros 2.

[NintendoPhratBoy227]

I really like the Designs/Worlds Nintendo Put into this game.

[zacktheninja300]

Needs more Miis. Kidding, but I have let it soak in... and I still don't like this game. -_-

Lots of videos!

Fan Videos Emerge for New Super Mario Bros. 2

[Yoshiman222]

lol - when I watched that guy play live (Just recently) He was in Coin-Rush with the Invincibility Leaf.
He timed-out, though...

Spoiler: Coin Totals

So it seems like you will unlock things at certain coin counts...
The guy playing live just got to 3000 coins, then something popped-up with some mini-celebration music showing the number 3000 on it.
Any idea on what that could mean?

SPOILERS! Final Level and Boss Battle for New Super Mario Bros. 2

Spoiler

Interesting that World 6 is the final world. We know there will be more than 8 worlds, so we can already expect 3 extra worlds. And then we still get DLC.

[Vipsoccermaster]

Not watching the videos so that I stay out of being spoiled.

Also, the Italian release for this game is Friday, August 24, 2012.

At least North America technically isn't the last ones to get it.

Unfortunatly, running a Mario site, I don't have this luxury. At least it's not a Zelda or something.

Well, for me, this could apply as well, but it depends on the Mario game. If it's Mario Party, then I don't have that luxury, either.

But I should help out more than just polls.

I am loving those new NSMB2 image sliders, though.
