Well aside from certain graphical differences, this is pretty much true for the most part.
I probably will buy it, but not spend too much time with it. I think NSMBU might be a better game since it will boast pretty backgrounds.

Well, it's probably because I hadn't connect to the eShop in like 6 months or whatever lol.
I bought this game today, I'm only on World 2 but it is fun. It's not the most amazing game ever created, but it is still fun. I also love the Final Castle for W1.
