Yeah considering how much people want DK it would only make sense. Like how they showed Snake in the Brawl E3 trailer, they would want people to be more excited and buy MP9

I think if DK isn't in then they won't put Diddy in. Diddy might be DK's sidekick like he was in MPDS again.

Peach,Daisy,Toadette and Birdo.

Peach + Mario,Luigi + Daisy,Yoshi + Birdo and Toad + Toadette

But Wario and Waluigi has none???

Rosalina should be fun if she join MP9:)
but she is the daughter of Peach??? so when you think about it Peach and she in the same game and  in same time?:-/
I do not get it! is the same thing as Baby Peach and Baby Daisy in the same time as Peach and Daisy? in Mario Kart and Mario Sluggers.. insane?? then I do not know if Rosalina is Peach's daughter or just a lot of bullshit.

Mona from WarioWare is a good idea to Wario maybe?
But a girl to Waluigi I have no idea??

So Mona and Rosalina for Wario and Waluigi maybe??

Never, Peach has no relation to Rosalina. They may be princesses, but they are only considered as friends.

Wario and Waluigi are gay are too ugly for girls, when have the villains ever gotten chicks? I think the amount of characters to appeal to females is fine right now. They've been adding 1 every game since Mario Party 6.

They don't need any more female characters though.

waluigi and rosalina=nasty couple, if they want to add a female dixie or candy kong or rosalina just not a couple 8)

Peach and Daisy were also quite similar before the change Daisy.
She had long hair before as Peach has. And Peach was brunette before the change her to blond.
so do they change Daisy because she was like Peach when she was a brunette..

But think Nintendo did the right thing to change, so you know that Peach and Daisy are different..

The link to the article that they're talking about in the forum, I don't think the right website appeared because I didn't see anything. But based on the forum talk, I highly doubt that Rosalina is Peach's daughter. Isn't Rosalina supposed to be really, really old or something.
 
well the (if I'm not mistaken, which I very well could be) the most recent "large rosters only" character added was baby daisy in Mario kart wii. the only other game she's been in so far is super sluggers. before that, ooh a "staple in spin-offs" character toadette was added in Mario kart double dash. she has been in most spin-offs after that, but wasn't in anything after sluggers (didn't make the cut for Mario Sports Mix, much like Birdo didn't)
so Baby Daisy was made so baby Peach could have a partner
Toadette was so Toad could have a partner (since DD was all about partners)

So Nintendo, for the most part, only makes new characters as partners. Hmm what could a new partner be? Someone for Rosalina would let her be in games more, but I doubt Nintendo would go that far out for her. What about Princesses for Wario and Waluigi? Wapeach and Wadaisy? Weach and Waisy? lol
 
I wonder if they are ever going to make girl versions of some characters to be their partner. A pink boo for boo, a pink dry bones (dry bonesie? Haha), maybe a queen boo for king boo? A girl koopa troopa? Sure now it sounds ridiculous but look toadette was made only for toad to have a partner in Mario kart double dash. That was pretty much the only reason she was made. And I don't know about the rest of you but I would really like a new character to be a regular in spin-offs.
