I think I might reread the last 2 books now & rewatch the 6th movie. That's the only one I've only seen once because I don't own it.
And I think I may just end up shelling out the $80 or whatever it is for all 8 movies on Blu-ray when this last one comes out =P

Fuck all that Hipster talk. You can't even knock Harry Potter as a whole (all 7 books together). Shit is so fluid and connected. There is an actual coherent world/place that has a consistency of shit happening over 50+ (depending on where you want to start counting, it could be 1000+) years of events. It's brilliant.

Yeah, and apparently she has even more backstory & all that that just didn't fit into the books.
If she were to continue the series (which I doubt) I think a prequel would be cool. Like everything from the first time Voldermort came about. Or even go back as far as him at Hogwarts. I'd read that shit for sure.

I read up more on that Pottermore thing & I'm kinda confused as to what it is. I guess its kind of like how DVDs come out with commentary & special features, but for the books? I'll probably check it out when it launches (if its free) and see how it is but I'm kinda thinking the extra content will be pretty sparse considering.

I hated the first movie and its the only one I've seen. My friend tried to get me to read obe of them a long time ago but I gave up on it.

I'm not a Potter fanboy and I barely have an opinion on it, I just don't like it when people complain about things they haven't read/watched/experienced or whatever
it just contributes towards know-it-all attitudes because they don't have anything to base their opinion on so all they have is their own confidence/over-inflated ego
