I think I'm seeing this movie on Friday along with part 1. It's a little marathon at my AMC.

Harry Potter truly is overrated.
Never been a big fan of the movies.

So this movie is apparently already getting critically acclaimed.

Well it premiered like a week ago so that makes sense.
I've rewatched the 1st, 2nd and 4th and I've decided, the 4th is my least favorite movie & book. I just didn't find the tournament as interesting as the plots of the other books and the movie seemed even more focused on it (the book had a few other sideplots that made it less all about the tournament).

Didn't see it last night, might tonight. I'm in no rush. Because once I see it, that's it. It's over. And as someone who read the books before the Harry Potter fad even started, that makes me sad =P

Ok, seriously, this hype is massively annoying. Nobody around my neighborhood jizzed when the 4th, 5th, or 6th movies came out, but now they are all cumming out of the woodwork saying that the last 2 movies are the biggest films out there. Seriously? The first film was basically just boring preparation and teenage "witch" drama, and through streams I've saw, the second film is nothing more than fighting, bullcrap advice, and triangles. Not the kind of movies i'd say should get this much attention.
Then again, I think none of them should.

Saw it today...It was amazing. Some things were left out, but they added things to substitute what was left.
The realization that it was over didn't really hit me until the Epilogue. I felt the manly tears comin' on, but I fought them back. Lol.

This was such an amazing movie. If there was ever a perfect book-to-film translation, this is it. I wouldn't have asked for Harry Potter to end any other way.

I don't blame Aegis, if something is overhyped and everywhere then it can get really annoying. I felt that way when The Dark Knight came out.

And I saw it last night and think they did a pretty great job with it. I was a little disappointed they cut out the parts about Dumbledore's past (his sister & all that) but I can see why they did. And I'm not 100% if that was technically cut from this movie or the first part (don't remember where it fell in the book).
The 19 years later part was stupid though. I thought it was cheesy in the book too, but in the movie none of the actors passed for being anywhere close to late 30s.
