Let me explain, so the Halloween Update is confirmed to be a NEW GAME called "FNAF World", It's a RPG game (like FF, Bravely Default, etc.) where you play as the animatronics in their "cute forms" (which are the ones being updated on the site).
This game will be a adventure with unique enemies and such.
The game WONT be a horror game, and the cute versions are made to appeal more persons (since some persons didnt like the animatronics cuz they were "scary")
Also, Scott confirmed that this is only being made cuz he loves these characters and wanted to say goodbye to them in a proper way.
He also said THERE WONT BE A FNAF 5 AND THAT FNAF WORLD WONT CONTRIBUTE FOR THE LORE SINCE ITS EVERYTHING EXPLAINED ALREADY
