Dark Souls

(Tried searching for it, but didn't find a main topic for it.....unless I have terrible search skills)

I just bought my own Prepare to Die Edition copy on the PC and been playing it currently (I played through it once last year on my brother's PS3), and oh how I recall all of that grinding and BS deaths. So, what are any of your experiences with this game that forces you to prepare for death at all times. ;)

Lol this hasn't been posted in for a while. I recently got this for $2.50 (yay sales), I installed it at school, but it crashed on me. Apparently my issue is that the Dark Souls steam download includes an older version of GFWL, and my internet sucks so I have to wait until tomorrow to redownload the latest client. I hope Soft decides to patch out GFWL and merge to Steamworks like most over previously GFWL games have.

Okay, so when you die you become a Hollow. You can't summon people to your game or be summoned for coop or PvP. You sacrifice a humanity and become alive again, allowing you to do PvP or coop. There aren't any stat changes between alive and Hollow. To kindle bonfires you need to be alive, so that's one perk next to the coop and PvP.
