Use the links below to jump to each type of collectible. Please keep in mind, some collectibles can’t be obtained the first time you arrive in a level. And be on the lookout for minor spoilers!
Shroom City Toad Locations
Toad 1: Walk around the first building in town and go behind it near the corner with the Save Block. Once you get to the top, whack the yellow bug Toad off the golden Snifit tower.
Toad 2: The Snifit on the seesaw needs to go flying. Get on top of the building by walking around the back and jump down onto the seesaw to launch the Snifit into the arch. This will drop down a yellow Toad along with a Shiny Mushroom, a Shiny Fire Flower, a Flashy Hammer, and an Ice Flower.
Toad 3: Walk along the edge of the pond until you see two wooden crates. Destroy them, then whack the wall to nudge out a rolled up Yellow Toad.
Toad 4: At the end of the path along the lake is a yellow Toad flower in need of a good smack.
Toad 5: See that blue tent and the two small crates? There’s a hidden block there you can use to reach the area above. Start by whacking the crumpled Toad off the top of the nearby palm tree.
Toad 6: The lower light shining on the hotel sign can be smashed to reveal a folded Yellow Toad.
Toad 7: In front of the building with three doors is a sign for DJ Toad’s Groovy Sound Discs. Hit the sign to reveal a crumpled Toad.
Toad 8: Enter the middle door to find the DJ shop. Use the counter to reach the top of the boxes on the right, then whack the Toad on the shelf. Too bad it’s not the owner!
Toad 9: After you shut off the fountain in the hotel pool, talk to the Snifit to make him get off the pizza looking Toad.
Toad 10: From the pool, enter the gate on the right. Break the two crates in the southern portion of the room. Enter the new space and yank Toad out from between the other crates.
Toad 11: Walk into the main lobby of the hotel and immediately whack the luggage cart to the right to save the crushed Toad underneath.
Toad 12: Enter the first floor hallway on the right and smack the vase at the end to reveal a yellow bug Toad.
Toad 13: After you save Luigi from the lamp, walk inside the booth from the left side and use it to reach the crates on the left side of the hotel. Smash them to reveal a bug Toad.
Toads 14-23: Return to Shroom City after destroying the yellow streamer and repairing the sun in the sky. Crates previously blocking the backside of the Accessories Shop on the left have now been removed. Walk back there to find a stack of ten Toads.
Shroom City Not-Bottomless Hole Locations
Hole 1: In front of the Desert Help Kiosk.
Hole 2: In front of the building with three doors.
Hole 3: There’s a hole in front of the broken steps near the entrance to the hotel.
Hole 4: Enter the right side hallway on the first floor and enter the last room to find a big hole in the wall.
Hole 5: Enter the left side hallway on the first floor and enter the last room to find a big hole in the wall.
Hole 6: Return to Shroom City after destroying the yellow streamer and repairing the sun in the sky. Crates previously blocking the backside of the Accessories Shop on the left have now been removed. Walk back there to find a hole in the wall. Fill it in to access a new cafe!
Shroom City Collectible Treasure Locations
Collectible Treasure #65: Save the Toad stuck inside the sign, then enter the Shop to purchase this treasure for 16,800 coins.
Collectible Treasure #66: Enter the DJ Shop and look for the hole you can punch through on the left wall, all the way in the corner. This will take you to the last room where you can grab the treasure chest on top of the crates.
Collectible Treasure #67: Enter the left side hallway on the first floor and enter the first room to find a treasure chest and an overly excited Snifit. This room will only be open if you got the Snifit off the fountain in the pool!
Collectible Treasure #68: Once you have Professor Toad by your side, go up to the area past the broken steps near the hotel. Look for the small patch of grass in front of the two barrels. Dig there to discover the treasure.
Collectible Treasure #69: Once you have access to the suite, enter the bedroom and open the chest to find this treasure.
Collectible Treasure #70: Return to Shroom City after destroying the yellow streamer and repairing the sun in the sky, the head for the magic lamp scam tent. Speak with the Toad there to receive a collectible treasure!
Shroom City Block Locations
Block 1: Enter the right door of the first building in town. There’s a hidden block holding an Ice Flower above the desk.
Block 2: Walk along the edge of the pond until you reach the end. See that blue tent and the two small crates? There’s a hidden block there with a 100-Coin inside.
Block 3: Jump over the crates and walk to the right. The blue railings that line the steps to the hotel are not identical. The one on the left is missing the top part. Whack that section to reveal a hidden block with a Coin Bag inside.
Block 4: Walk up the first set of stairs in town and look for the block containing a 100-Coin on the left.
Block 5: To the right of the stairs leading to the hotel is a hidden block in the corner. 100-Coin inside.
Block 6: Use the hidden block by the stairs to reach the upper area. Walk around to the top of the building where a second block rests. POW Block inside.
Block 7: From the pool, enter the gate on the right. See the Blue Snifit near all the crates? Use the small crates to get on top of the shelves, then make it to the first window and jump through. Once outside, hit the block to reveal a Coin Bag.
Block 8: Once you have access to the suite, enter the bedroom and step onto the left mini desk and jump to reveal a hidden block with a Shiny Mushroom.
