Chateau Chanterelle is the ninth level of Chapter 2 in Paper Mario: Color Splash, and our guide covers every Mini Star within this level of our walkthrough.

This level is a bit different from the rest as it is very small and you can get either Mini Star. That said, it’s best to go for the Green Mini Star first, then head to Mondo Woods, then return to this level and get the yellow Mini Paint Star to unlock Marmalade Valley. Mini Star 1
The level starts you off in front of a yellow Toad house. Color in whatever white spots you see, then head inside. Speak with the Toad about the missing professor and his little Chain Chomp named Princess.
Go out to the backyard and head over to the chain chomp’s small little home. Slide through the crack to find an underground tunnel leading to a warp pipe. Enter that and you’ll find yourself behind the barn. Neat! Color in the gate so that you have access back to the main area of the background.
Still behind the barn, open up the barn door on the right to find a Thing Replica card, while the gate on the door on the left has a Piggy Bank Thing. Open and close the doors so that the light green line running through both doors aligns correctly. Enter Cutout mode and you’ll be able to reach the green Mini Star and unlock Mondo Woods!
Mini Star 2
Return to Chateau Chanterelle after finding the professor in Mondo Woods. Head into the backyard and talk to the professor once more. After that, walk to the left of the barn and hop onto the barrels and vases. There you’ll find a warp pipe that leads to the Marmalade Valley!
