Will Mario slowly get worse?

Oh man, Noki Bay pissed me off so much with it's Blue Coins. Just when I think I am about to get one, those shithead birds pop out of the wall and send you back into the ocean. That's when I basically ragequited the Blue Coin quest.......for like 10 minutes. :p I just murdered a few cats first before moving on.

I liked Sunshine, but I wish Yoshi didn't die in the weirdest ways and that 20% of the Shine Sprites weren't from Blue Coins. Oh god Blue Coins in Corona Mountain... You can't save yourself once you get a Blue Coin which which super tedious. >__>

Corona Mountain is the reason I won't do a replay of that game lol. I hated that place. I was fine til u got to the boat. Jesus that was hard to steer.

How ironic. I thought Corona Mountain was the easiest course in the entire game. If anything, Hotel Delfino was a pain in the ass, especially in the casino where you had to squirt the damn panels. THEY JUST WOULD NOT STOP FLIPPING DAMNIT.

The secret Shine Sprite that is accessed by riding the boat then jumping straight up into a hole in the building was the worst Shine Sprite mission for me.

It would take me forever to get the bottom right coin just because Mario's momentum is too much for FLUDD's hovering so it doesn't do shit.

Unfortunately, I'm seeing that the Mario series is in fact getting worse. It needs to go back to it's exploration roots, while still keeping the epicness that were the Mario Galaxy games. Or perhaps do something new with the main series besides platforming. (3D RPG anyone?)

^ Why would they change the focus of Mario games from platforming to rpg. :p

Well, why not? Mario is a racer, an olymipan, a party person, a hero and several other things. It'll be nice to explore the entire mushroom kingdom in a 3D aspect without "teleporting" to certain areas. I guess something like Xenoblade or Skyrim, where you are opened to the entire world (for the most part.)

Wait, madstarr...

You talk about something new for the MAIN SERIES(the 3D RPG).

Then go on about "Why not?" and list a bunch of spin-offs.

I'm confused.

I was talking about a main series game going to 3D RPG, but then Justin asked why the development teams would go on from platforming to rpg. So then I answered by stating that Mario has proven to be able to do many things (looking at spin-offs for example), so why not try to make a 3D RPG happen in the main series (which is something that hasn't happened before)? I don't understand why any of you would be confused, but I'm sorry if I did cause confusion. Besides, there are some key people from the Nintendo EAD studios who work on the main series which are also seen to be working on spin-offs. Since we know this, it is something they would be able to do without much of a problem
