What time zone are you in right now? I'm using Central which is pretty much in the middle hence the name.

I'm having a problem figuring out a time zone. Call me stupid, but this stuff confuses me so much.
I'm writing up a news post for the main site about the upcoming Nintendo Directs. The one in Australia is scheduled for
"September 13th at 24:00 (midnight) AEST "
Now does this mean that the new day has already started? Let's do an example. It is July 1st. The clock is at 23:59:59. It is still July 1st. When it hits 24:00, does it then become July 2nd? Is 24:00 the same thing as 00:00? Bottom line, is the Nintendo Direct of Australia supposed to be at the very start of September 13th, or the very end?
Maybe I'm just making it much harder than it needs to be.

What time is it supposed to be in the US? The only time I've seen 2400 is when an extra minute has to be added as a result of the relativity issues with time.
