The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword

[berrylarry200]

See I told you guys it was an over exaggeration. I'm really excited that the game seems already finished. Hopefully we will get to play this within 5 months.

Release Date: February 30th 2011

[Troll]

Probably just before Christmas.

[SuperZambezi]

New trailer shown at GDC today! Looks great! I haven't stooped to look, but was that Vaati?

[CaptainShyguy]

The game looks great!

About the delay, I pretty much knew this was going to happen. The same happened with Twilight Princess if I'm right.

[MLYW]

Looks cool but the Motion Plus controls are starting to look kinda annoying. It's probably not Vaati and most likely a new villain.

[MLYW]

My trained eyes have spotted something.

[Vipsoccermaster]

I'm guessing the girl from the concept art is your companion in this game? Like Midna from Twilight Princess, I mean.

That Shield Meter...if it is a meter, then I wonder what would be the purpose of that. Maybe if it empties out, you won't be able to use it?

And the harp...no clue what that item does.

[H-J Kaabii]

Looks like the Nunchuk is used for Shield manoeuvers. But HOLD ON, I THOUGHT LINK WAS LEFT HANDED. I HOPE WE DON'T HAVE TO BE AS WELL. (But the image has him right handed. Way to break tradition Ninty. Fail. <.<)
Shield Meter? lol Fighting Game Mechanic ftw
Girl from concept art is the entity of the Skyward Sword I thought we deduced. >.> Seems to be a Help function from first impressions.
Harp looks like your typical Orcarina/Baton.

[CaptainShyguy]

Maybe the Harp is a new instrument like the Ocarina or Wind Waker.

The girl must be the complanion, well I guess.

And shield meter.......wtf is that for?

[H-J Kaabii]

^ If it's what MLYW and I are thinking, after you get bashed around a bit and the shiled meter depletes, we're guessing that (a) you drop the shield and left stunned; or (b) you're left stunned and open to attack.

Just our thought tho.

[Shaby]

Looks truly amazing!

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Theme

Mind = Blown

[Vipsoccermaster]

That's the theme? Pretty nice. Though part of it was already from the other video that Ammy posted.

[HuntMac]

Looks more of a cartoony game?

[berrylarry200]

It's a mix between cell-shading like WInd Waker and realism by Twilight Princess. The artstyle was inspired by some watercolor artist so the textures of the game look very colorful and painting-like. Anyway Zelda's Lullaby was found hidden in the Skyward Sword trailer.

[MLYW]

I see no one watched the video I posted since it's the exact one Berry posted.

[Snowy620]

I did, I just didn't post.

Yea, I watched your vid, too That's what made me say the game was cartoony (as apposed to "realism"). I didn't see any significance of watching it again reversed though Just skipped around for "just in case"s.

Listen to the reversed music.
