It's fakeI never said I believed it.
You don't exactly go "OMG THIS GAME IS RUINING MY LIFE LET'S PLAY IT MORE." I still dislike Zelda games, I would still abandon a game if I no longer have any enjoyment out of it, and fictional stories about lonely dead children that laugh a lot still make the creepiest stories.

It was his decision to continue playing the game, he had a choice to play it after all... All he had to do to make the suffering end was to put down the game, that isn't difficult.
"I haven't gone to any of my classes, I've stayed in my dorm room with the windows closed and the blinds shut - that way I know he can't watch me. But he still gets me when I play, when I play he can still see me. The game is scaring me now."
...Just put the game down, and burn it.
" it's a video game - haunted or not it can't hurt me, right?"
That's right.... So dispose of it!
I still know it's fake, but curiosity killed the cat.
Antiguy, the video didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, but thanks.
