Anyways, I love the endless stairs music. I usually get less than required amount of stars just to hear it. X'D Also, I just loved running up the stairs for hours and hours. It feels like there is a escalator that goes downards really fast. XP

You don't need anywhere near 70 stars. TASers will just glitch through walls prior to it.

Too bad that once you get 70 stars, the endless stairs are no longer endless. In DS, you could just use anybody besides Mario.
The endless stairs were epic. I used to think something bad would happen if I somehow managed to get to the top before I got the required amount of stars.

Nothing special happens, which is quite disappointing really. You just get to fight Bowser earlier, that's all.

But they are no ordinary stairs.
As a kid, I would keep on trying to walk up the stairs and then I would question myself ''would it ever end''. Finally my brother told me that you have to get 70 stars, I felt like a dumba**.

I felt the same way back then. But that's how we were as young people back then.
I loved these Stairs in both Super Mario 64 and it's remake. The music is quite eerie, which I enjoy about it.
Of course I discovered it when I was little, it never scared me, just made me curious. To this day I still enter the door without 70 stars on a file just to mess with these stairs.
In the original I never really tried glitching up the stairs but I try in the remake just to get Yoshi in the Bowser level. I never succeeded though. I think the "Endless" Stairs should return in a future Mario game.
