Sorry if I seem all nit-picky and such, but here's what I think what stages should be kept.

Brawl Stages

Delfino Plaza
Luigi's Mansion
*Pirate Ship
Norfair
Frigate Orpheon
Yoshi's Island
Halberd
Lylat Cruise
Pokemon Stadium 2
Castle Siege
Smashville
*Pictochat
**Shadow Moses Island

*Means that I'm not too sure, as there's hazards that can kill at a reasonable %.
**Means I'm not sure about that either, since you can live like forever there.

Melee Stages
*Jungle Japes
Corneria
*Green Greens
*Brinstar
Pokemon Stadium

Here's my list of stages I think are fine. They're not all boring, but at the same time I think they're viable for tourneys.

I can't think of any stages to do, but I think the items should be set to high instead of medium.  But for items...maybe instead of hammers and gold hammers we could have poke balls?  Also assist trophies are fun, and smash balls are a must..I think.  What do you guys think?  Also I may have to wait a while before participating in this due to me being in Newfoundland, and my wii is not here...I am still totally interested in playing though

What some people had said before with no items may be the best option. There are a ton of items that have a high chance of causing insta-kill and that can be very unfair.

Pirate Ship has the front of the ship which Meteor Smashes you and the bombs as hazards (the sweetspot kills you pretty early >__>), so I was kind of uncertain on it.

I don't really like Bridge of Eldin because of its permanent walk-offs and it's "FORWARD/BACKWARD THROW TO THE WALK-OFF BLAST ZONE".

I think Brinstar should be legal, the acid won't kill you until like 180% (But you should've killed your opponent by then XD) and I think Norfair should be legal as well, the lava is easy the avoid and you can shield the Lava waves instead of going into the safety capsule.

I'm not sure about Green Greens either because of those Bomb Blocks and the side blastzones are pretty close so it's difficult to survive.

What's wrong with Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2? =P I don't find the transformations much of an issue lol

Off-topic, if you play me you'll be frustrated at how long I do survive.

The rules listed by Staryu seem fair so I'll agree to that. To add to his post, "it will be a free for all with 4 people. If lag occurs then we will make the matches 1 vs.1. 5 points for first place 3 points for second 1 point for third and 0 for fourth."

It's not that, it's like with a slight lag, I lose control and the stage is usually small and I miss footing easily and just die...though it's primarily my fault, I still don't like the stage.
