Welcome one and all to the Super Smash Bros Brawl Tourney! This is a tourney open to a whopping 16 players(less if I need to). This will be a best of 3 elimination match in 1vs.1 match format. Tournament will be in brackets and the winner from each bracket will advance to the next round. Sign-ups must include  friend code. All players are open for use. Games will be played on any stage. During the battle there will be a 3 life stock. The only item restricted is the Smash Ball. CHARACTER LIST BELOW NOTE: MORE THAN ONE PERSON CAN HAVE THE SAME CHARACTER

This can be a little confusing at first. You are reading this vertically starting on the left. Those with a red circle in the vertical area will be playing each other. Blue dots will play each other as well. Continue until you get to the end. ]

Ex. Toblet, Timmy, Combat, and Chaos will play each other in Group 1 while Leafeon, Gameguy, Staryu, and Nintendofan will play each other.


Dots obviously change as you progress. Note that the color of dots you have does not matter it is just an easy way to line things up.


The closest thing to Random.org decided this. I input the patterns of dots and then.... my brother assigned spots. Of course he was playing CoD so he didnt know what he was doing.

Points:
1st: 5 pts.
2nd: 3 pts.
3rd: 1 pts.
4th: 0 pts.

The 4 players with the most points at the end of the 6 rounds will face off in the finals to claim Brawl supremacy.

The reasoning behind the move is firstly because of his impeccable recovery options and speed, and secondly he is considered to have between an even to significantly advantageous match-up against every character in the cast. R.I.P Metaknight."
 
I wasn't god level with him. In fact, I pretty sucked with Meta Knight.

IMO Smashville, Lylat Cruise and Delfino Plaza should be added to the stage selection =P

You choose 3 characters and when you see your opponent you pick your best choice from your team.(refer to pokemon) Once your team is set you can not switch. You may use any character however many times you like.

And I am signing up with Zelda, Pit, and Lucas

I don't really count Lylat Cruise to be legal, but I am fine with Smashville and Delfino Plaza.

Anyways, my team will be Ness, Peach and Kirby.

No other forms do not count as extra players so when Zelda for example changes to Sheik it is still considered one character. Samus will not be able to change into Zero Suit and vice versa because the smash ball is needed.
