See, this is what makes tournaments not fun. "Oh hey, lets ban everything because someone elite like Smashboards says they are not allowed."

You, sir, are correct in every way.Aegis said:
It's better if we could go with whoever we want on any stage we want with any character we want - not like anything is at stake here, correct?
It's for FUN!!!!
Good luck getting people to sign up, I ran a SSBB tournament not too long ago and I had to push the issue (ie. limiting it to four people) to make it successful.
Unfortunately, I don't have time so I can't sign up.
But I'll try to see if I can get some other people to join.

Would it make everybody happy if there were no restrictions?
The only thing you should restrict is Smash Balls.
All characters are now open as well as stages and all items are in except Smash Ball. ;D

I will use Kirby.
I'll use Yoshi.
Will I need to register you as a friend on the wii?
this unfortunately has died due to lack of support.
Don't give up just yet. Five people have already signed up and Yoshiman will sign up too, as long as there are seven others.saxprodigee said:
Come on Guys! We only need two more people!!
You got me signed up right?
I honestly think this is dead - I don't think anyone who signed up is interested in this anymore...Toblet said:Don't give up just yet. Five people have already signed up and Yoshiman will sign up too, as long as there are seven others.saxprodigee said:

I know I've actually lost interest myself ~ although if you happen to get enough players I may consider joining...
Seriously - this is well over a month old...

I am still interested in doing this, and will create my own smash tourney if I have to
All of the people who've signed up are still active, so I'm sure they would be persuaded if there was a total of 8 people.
Come on people... If you have SSBB sign up pl0x!! The Wii is going to be dead soon anyway, so enjoy it while you still have the chance!!
Only two more people needed!

my sister is not on Mario Party legacy forums, but i am pretty sure that I can convince her to play some Super Smash bros online.

Hmm I',m wondering, once the Wii U comes out will online play for the Wii games that have it still be active?
Yes, I think so. I think Wi-fi on the Wii will be running for years to come.Ness and Lucas said:Toblet said:All of the people who've signed up are still active, so I'm sure they would be persuaded if there was a total of 8 people.

It depends on the game for it's amount of online players.
