Ok i was a big fan of this game back in the day and this was also one of my child hood favorites and ive read on other websits that apparently a lot of people would like to have this game on wii u.
I now i would and I wouldn't mind exploring the tropics of delfino island again.

So do you think it would cool if they made Super Mario Sunshine 2 and would buy it if they did.

Galaxy 2 was basically an expansion pack to Galaxy 1 and it sold really well. If the consumer demand was high enough, I could see Nintendo do a sequel to Sunshine.

I just find it odd on the fact that it would be a sequel to a game that was two consoles before hand, and a sequel to a game that's story doesn't seem to be able to be continued. although I guess the same could've been said about Luigi's Mansion, but that's beside the point.

It depends on what the storyline would be. I personally can't see another storyline that would really need fludd. If it would be a "Oh no, Bowser Jr. sprayed graffiti all over delphino island again" game, I wouldn't get it. But Nintendo really surprised me with how well they handled Mario Galaxy 2 so I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to do a good sequel.

If there is a sequel, I have a few things I want to say.

1) Make Yoshi able to swim!
2) Make Yoshi required to get more than a few shines/stars!
3) Stay away from voice acting.
4) Please don't abuse the red coin missions so much. 2/3 missions per level is just not right.
5) Don't reuse the same boss more than once or twice.

Other than those opinions, SMS might be my favorite gamecube game out there, or at least in my top 5's. A sequel for this would be as welcome as Luigi's mansion 2.

People have been talking about this a lot recently, but I don't think it'll happen in the next few years. Exploring Isle Delfino again would be nice, but I can't see how it would offer anything new since the last ten years or so.
Yeah - I remember one day when we were just talking this and we got some interesting things. (around Yoshi only, though (still have those notes we got))

Another game like this would be cool, though, very unlikely, yes.
