I was looking carefully and it looks like a large fat Luma.

I noticed that Rosalina isn't in any screenshots yet. Shame. She looked like the only character in the Mario series that actually had an interesting backstory. Dull, yes, but kind of interesting. =P

Did you guys see the screen with Mario looking at Bowser? If you look closely at Bowser's hand, Peach is there but extremely tiny. Huge Bowser or Tiny Peach?

And I read on MarioWiki that the big purple Luma is a captain of the ship who lost all the lumas or something. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes. I would prefer if the Toad Brigade appeared again s well. And possibly they can have a bigger role than the first Super Mario Galaxy.

I once had this idea of a Sand Mario power-up...but I don't think Nintendo would really need to use it... T_T

The Sand Mario power-up would let you walk across the deep sand parts where you usually sink and die. I can think of ways Nintendo could use this in Super Mario Galaxy 2...but meh...its never going to happen...
