Because NY wants to show off the rest of America that it's education is soooo high-class. And that other states don't even give a s***.
Because robbing students of free time falls under the category of high class.
...Yeah, basically.

NY has the most prissy Education system in the states. No other states care about Regents (except Cali.), DOCM credits, and extracurricular crap and you can easiely slide by in school. But NY feels the need to keep on hammering us with crap that isn't important, because they think they're better than anyone.

Anyways, VIP, I start September 2nd and end June 24th. (28th if you count my History Regents).

Hallejuah!!!! :D

If there's one thing that's bad about New York, it's the schools. They want you to have like a hundred extracurricular activities and you have to take the friggin regents. They also give a ton of homework. I get home from school at like six o'clock, and by the time I'm finished with my dinner, chores, etcetera, it's already eight o'clock, which means that I can't even go outside
