Since the college changed the course outline for Mathematics, I'm in a sticky situation. They really expect someone to take MAT 225 (Cal III), MAT 131 (Prob and Stats), and MAT 200 (Foundations Advanced Mathematics) at the same time. That's extremely difficult to do...

What are you majoring in?

Mathematics lol

What career are you going to persue, a math teacher? That's just too much math. XD

Becoming a math teacher lol. It's a lot of math because it's literally everything. We go all over in math

i forgot my final high school grades but they really don't matter a year into college. at least i got a few medals and a plague out of them

@Chubbo sorry for being 10 days late to respond but it you have the cash, go for it.

That's okay, I wasn't in a rush, lol. I did my financial planning and it turns out that I will have enough money for the PC, so I will go ahead and get it.

Just to be on the safe side, I'm gonna see my gaming advisor on Wednesday (since I'm in her class) to see if she has any student deals for me. She might be able to find me a computer as strong, or stronger, than this one and for a cheaper price tag.

School-wise, this is gonna be an awesome semester. 15 minutes into Game Design & Development and people are debating over which Final Fantasy is the best. XD I can't wait to hear the other debates we'll have throughout the year.

I checked the mail and surely enough, I got a scholarship! It awards me $750 each semester for the 13-14 academic year!

I can't wait for fall to start! =)

Speaking of which, here's my Fall 2013 schedule, which begins on August 19th:

Adobe Photoshop I
Fundamentals of Unix
Game Design & Development
Intro to Python Programming

OMG PYTHON PROGRAMMING
I used that program in my Multivariable Calculus class (As ridiculous as that sounds)

And I damn sure forgot how to use Python already...

That's how I brought this laptop. Had extra cash saved up.

College starts Sept 3rd for me. I CAN WAIT

I start tomorrow. My classes:

ENG 214 English Grammar and Usage
ENG 287 Poetry Workshop
ENG 394 Superstition Review (magazine intern)
ENG 425 Studies in Romanticism
ENG 464 Great Directors
ENG 465 Studies in Film

I actually had a Communications class up until this morning where I switched it for another English class. As an English Lit major, I have a lot of freedom in terms of picking what kind of classes I want to take. Take note, two classes revolve around movies. :p

I think the Grammar and Usage class will help me a lot. :p Studies in Romanticism falls under a required category, isn't the most exciting. Not a fan of Poetry, but I think it would do me good to take another class on it. The magazine intern is online and is mostly consists of using social media to interact/promote the magazine.

Ewwwww that's volatile!!! I couldn't even do one of those classes...

What I'm in for the upcoming semester:

Community Planning & Design (Mon 10-12 and Thu 2-4)
Modern Architecture (Mon 3-6)
CAD Applications 1 (Tue 4-8)
Data Collection & Research Methods (Wed 12-2)
Subdivision Design (Wed 2-5)
Mobile GIS & GPS (Fri 8-11)
Geographical Info Systems 3 (Fri 12-4)
Video Game Theory (Mon 12-1 and Thu 4-6)

School has been alright for me so far, my issue is that my school does things last minute (ESPECIALLY SCHEDULES)... I got placed in Enriched French even though I didn't want to, and I'm not really fond of my French teacher anyways. :/

Math class I will have to pray to pass that class, mainly because of the teacher I have. I think I can handle this class compared to Enriched French though. :p

I dropped ECO112 since I didn't need it so now I have

SPA101 (Yes, I don't know Spanish so I'm learning it at a slow pace...)
MAT200 (A Math course that is ridiculous and does entirely too damn much)
PHY151 (The professor is a 71 year old adjunct professor... the class is a damn joke...)
ACC101 (Accounting which I have a good history with)

I started school today. Classes start next week (this first week we're getting to know each other, as well as go on several college trips since this year is very college heavy), but I've gotten my schedule.
I have:
Algebra 2/Trigonometry
US History
11th Grade English
Advanced Chemistry
And on Mondays and Wednesdays I'll be working an internship (I don't know what yet, hopefully one in the arts) from 1:10 to 4:40.
