Online

Yeah, at times when playing online the lag is just HORRIBLE.

Not to mention the Rating system is absolutely screwed up. (The points system is fine, but the Rating system is bleh).

Seriously, Rating system is just ridiculous. You gain and lose points based on the amount of times you miss the ball or your opponent misses the ball. Because of this, it is VERY easy to lose points if you win. So unless you completely sweep them, you will probably lose points at the end of the match. This is especially the case for tied matches.

Which is stupid. The main idea is to get a good match (making it as fair and close as possible) but the Rating system HATES that. If you get in a close match, you will guarantee a lost in points, so why even bother to win? Might as well disconnect at that point (or do something nice, like give them a win and disconnect at the last second, although that may still be quite rude).

But this is only the case when your Rating/Points is higher (because when it is lower, you can only get 2 successful shots and actually gain points if you lose, this is entirely possible).

But it is sooo much better with friends. Because you can actually play doubles and even play on the Galaxy Court stages. Although, it is based on the host's characters, so the host better have unlocked all the characters as well as their Star counterparts.

How is the game when playing online? If I remember correctly, there were some reports on laggy gameplay. And how much is the online restricted?
This is one of the most negative comments that I would like to say. Nintendo restricting the worldwide feature and only I face players in Australia and New Zealand only, it's just pathetic. I never tried online yet, but I know it looks stupid as I can preview it. I really wanted to face Yoshiman222 in the past, but that's not gonna happen. That's why I gave this game a decent review last month.
