My opinion has changed. Before, we had little info on NSMB2. I was thinking U would be much better because of it's cool features with the Gamepad. You could just turn off the TV and continue playing, which I thought was really cool. I also like being able to have those platforms that the other player creates. But now we have a lot more information on NSMB2, and it has things much better than U. It has DLC, which I find awesome. It has the Coin Rush mode, which will help make the game last really long. Anyway, it has lots of features that are better than U, so, I'm gonna go with New Super Mario Bros. 2.

i would go with new super mario bros u cuz it has fresh new elements and some elements from super mario world my favorite game on the SNES so this game is a must have for me.
Since I still pretty much hate most things about NSMB2 my choice is still U.
I'm go for U only becuase I'm getting the Wii U but not the 3ds, and those new yoshi things look cool!!!
This is a tough one...I like the coin gimmick and some of the levels shown in NSMB2, plus we don't know much about NSMBU aside from the Baby Yoshis and Squirrel Power-up. But you can play as Toads and Miis in Single Player mode in NSMBU...

I would prefer New Super Mario Bros 2, but i like the Wii U version even better.

I still prefer NSMBU more just because it goes up to 4 players (Not including the random helper guy) and there are BABY YOSHI'S!!!
Baby Yoshi's pretty much make me want NSMBU more.

Even with all the new info, the whole gimmickyness of coins/gold/whatever really doesn't appeal to me at all, so unless U fails to deliver, going for U.

I think they will change there minds when they see more on new super mario bros u.Right now new super mario bros 2 is geting more love because more people can play it soon.But when more info on new super mario bros u is shown more will think that game is better.

If they would somehow implement this, i would prefer NSMBU and it has 4-players
They're very different games, but I think the one for the wii u looks better! I like the way you can place blocks to help/hinder your buddies! Also The flying squirrel suit looks awesome! And the best news is that baby yoshi and normal yoshi are both confirmed! I hope yoshi is in2 as well!!!

Baby yoshis are in the videos of it, and adult yoshi is in the official artwork.
Honestly, I found both NSMBDS and NSMBWii to be insanely boring and lacking creativity that I have given up on the new Mario sidescrollers. I am most likely gonna get NSMB2 just to try out the Coin aspect, but I am not wasting my money on U. Looking back, I think the Mario sidescroller perfection stopped after Super Mario World.
