How many minigames do you want on Mario Party 9?

Mario Party 9 Minigames

There was a total of 21 different minigames in the trailer and the screens. I didn't realize. 18 of them were 4 Player minigames. Each Mario Party usually brings around twenty 4 player minigames, so hopefully this wasn't all of them. Maybe the total number of minigames will go up this time around (usually 70-80, hopefully 100 this time).

The mini-game with the Goombas seems like a counting game to me. Probably whoever has the closest estimate wins. Anyways, I hope the mini-games have a good amount in each type of category. After all, I wouldn't want like 30 for 4 player and only like 10 for 1vs3 or something like that. I hope for at least 85 mini-games total.

Fixed SZ's typical mistakes and errors here.

Anyway, there could be 18 mini-games for 4-Player, but we really don't know.

I would suspect around 20 mini-games for 4-Player, and there should be at least about 12 mini-games for both 2 VS. 2 and 1 VS. 3, and as for others, it could vary. I do hope it has at least 80 mini-games, as well.

Did anyone else seem to feel like some of the minigames were recycled versions of past ones? My eyes might be tricking me, but some just seem familiar.

Some of them are, it's just revamped and more better with different graphics etc. although I think there will be all new mini-games in there as well

The minigames that I thought were either remade or used a similar concept have a mention and a link to that minigame in the description.

I don't know how I overlooked this but Minigame #17 and #18 were 1vs3 minigames. I have it fixed on the speculation page.

And so far, none of them look like luck minigames. I have no clue how #11 works, but it seems there is some point system going. Think of it. A Mario Party with No luck minigames.. Wow.
Yeah. It's a strong possibility that they dropped the idea of having luck mini-games because they were overused. Still, 0 - 3 mini-games based on luck could suffice, but more mini-games based on skill is what we want. ND Cube is probably trying to make Mario Party 9 a lot differently than what Hudson did in the previous installments. ND Cube is taking Hudson's mistakes and reverse them.

Yes! No luck minigames. I'm buying when it's released. :p

I don't care if there's 1 but just don't do any battle games with luck, I really dont understand the point of luck battle games. I love Mario Party but if there's one thing that annoys me about it its the 2 luck battle games.

LUCK MINI-GAMES AS BATTLE MINI-GAMES ARE HORRIBLE BECAUSE TO OTHERS (ESPECIALLY SOMEONE WHO PUTS IN ALOT OF COINS) IT'S DAMN SURE NOT FAIR WHEN YOU WIN IN LAST!

I KNOW RIGHT? >.<
