Former RARE Composer Grant Kirkhope, who composed many soundtracks from games such as Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day, had this to say:

I think Rare have completely f#@$ed themselves. And - it isn't their fault; it's Microsoft's fault. They have completely ruined that company, and it makes me cry every day of my life.

I have to agree with him. Microsoft has turned Rare into a completely different company, much unlike when Rare was working with Nintendo.

Rare was making awesome games while it was working with Nintendo!

Look at the Donkey Kong Country games and DK64! Amazing games.

Now Rares games today... (though I don't really know - this is what I heard) don't even compete with it.

Microsoft destroyed Rare. I have to go with Grant because ever since N&B, I haven't seen Rare anywhere except in the Kinect Sport series.

Banjo-Kazooie
Conker's
GoldenEye
Perfect Dark
Jet Force Gemini

I even liked Star Fox Adventures for the Gamecube. It's a shame what's happened to them, I grew up playing a lot of their games.

Microsoft doesn't even make computers they make an operating system. 

P.S: They Xbox 360 is a great console, the online system is probably the best out of all 3 of the current systems, and although you pay for it there is a reason you do since it is the best.
