I don't like this minigame. It's just too luck based. I just kept wondering why they can't give you just a little clue to tell you where and where not to go, but luck minigames don't do that. If it's (4 players and 0 computers), and not (1 player and 3 computers), then it would be a lot funner, but if it were the other way around, there is a huge chance you may lose. That's what I hate about it.

If the rest of the game wasn't based on luck then I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Most of the Mario Party games (even the party mode) is mostly based on luck, to be honest (with the random dices and the spaces)... So, to really enjoy Mario Party games of that kind, the best is that you actually want to let the luck be on your side, or just having suspense on about if you actually win or not. I like to play this game, but I let the luck going because it's good to have fun.

...you have to guess though. That's the point of the game.
Yeah, only the luck can go ahead in this mini-game. You guess, if you're wrong, you're trapped in a place that you can't go further away. Having to guess can make a lot of suspense when we play this mini-game. It's what I like about this one.

If you knew which door led to where, it wouldn't be as fun, right?
For me, personally, it's true that it would not be the same thing. The mini-game would be without suspense, and all.

How about making it a moving door that is the hint? This way, it's skill based and still fun.

Or like one door is different than the others and you have to decide quickly.
...too bad none of this happened.
If there was even something that helped guide the way, this minigame would no longer be fun.

As Maxime said, there would be no more suspense, and that's what made this game good.
Plus, everyone would win. What's the point then?
