The list has only 19 and 18 not counting Miis. Power Tennis had 18 to.

If you add in Toad and Toadette, that would be a perfect roster to me. I still do believe that Toad has a shot especially considering that he was in the first two Tennis games while he was planned with Toadette in MPT. The Toads need a proper return to the Tennis series.

Toadsworth would be fine as the referee/tutorial character at this point of time.

I honestly think Toad himself should stay as ref, host, shop keep. I like him best in that role rather than him be playable. As for Toadette, I think her time is done.

That's far to many characters for a simple Tennis game aint it? Metal Mario and Shadow Mario are both pathetic clones that should be replaced with others more original non clones and Funky isn't much of a Mario Kong.
