Mario Golf 3DS

The last Golf game was for the GCN right? Toadstool Tour?

I hated the Golf games because the gameplay was really REALLY simple and anybody with a brain could get to be a master within seconds of playing it.
 
I don't think there'd be much of a market besides the nostalgia factor. Online would be weird unless real time updates of scorecards but wth that's not fun imo. Probably not a wise investment for Camelot

Can't see special club mechanics (golf is not a very customisable game...) nor too many courses (besides it gets repetitive)

Nintendo love throwing away one-use sports characters (except protagonists who return derp XD).

That would be really nice to see one game again becase I really enjoyed it. (Yeah... I enjoy Mario Golf, but I sadly don't have it...)  This is relaxing and fun, yeah!
 
Well every handheld Mario Golf game had a story mode and the option to play as the Blue clothed Burnett boy or the red clothed cherry blond girl and the option to bring them over into the main game. Or with this one just mixing the two for the first time having the story mode and your character being able to play with the entire Mario crew and not just Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Wario.
 
Ok i would love too see a mario golf for 3ds i loved mario golf toadstool tour it was a really good game and u got to be shadow mario which was awesome anyways here are some ideas for the next mario golf.

I love Mortal Kombats idea's for the main menu and maps. However, I don't think Nintendo will ever make 25 characters playable for the 3DS. Also explain, how you do a ring shot game using a golf ball?

There are 16 characters and Mii's which sounds believable for the 3DS. I was considering Petey but his head is too big for being a playable character. The Yoshi colours could also make it onto Mario Golf.
 
@toblet well in Mario Golf Toadstool Tour they had a mode called Ring Attack where on Each Hole You Had a Certain amount of shots to hit the rings also some were in very hard spots and let me tell u if u want a challenge this mode is most definitly for you but anyways check this mode out on youtube its kinda challenging but fun.
