How your favorite Character became your favorite?

How did your favorite video game character become your favorite? And when? This can be any character, it doesn't have to be from Mario or even Nintendo.

Me, well, I've liked Toadette ever since she first debuted. I was always a huge fan of Toads, but for some reason Toadette really interested me. It's really odd seeing how I hate pink and girly things, but love Toadette so much. Soon I began drawing her a lot and always using her in games when I got the chance. To this day (almost 9 years later) she's still my #1 gal and I own more than 14 toys and merchandise of her, some of it homemade!

Now, how did YOU find your favorite?
 
Although I don't show it much I really really really really like Rosalina. She surpasses Daisy. When I first saw her I instantly fell in love literally. I thought she was soooooooo sexy and mysterious and just beautiful. I do t play her in any games because I don't want to show my secret affection. so yeah

Yeah, I used to have a crush on Toad.
I still probably do.
 
Me mine was Shadow Mario i just really liked the way he looked in mario sunshine and when mario golf TST cameout i didnt even know he was in the game until i unlocked him in 2010 and i was like no freakin way man this is awesome and i play as him in mario golf TST almost every time also i like the way he looks in MGTST also would of been cool to play as him in mario superstar baseball too.
 
My favorite character is really hard to tell, because I know I like a lot of them, but if I can describe one of them, it would be two of them.

First of all, from Mario Party, my favorite character is Boo. At first, I wasn't "attracted" to him, but when I started playing Mario Party 7, he was starting to appeal to me because I know that this little ghost was "special" to me and I  started to use him during play. I prefer to play as him instead having to affront Boo in the main games, I find this more awesome. It's about how it is, it looks to be an awesome and funny ghost and I like the appearence of this one.

But if I go with any Mario games, the answer could be surprising, but it's Bowser Jr. Why him? Well... at first, I start to be interested to him in the first Mario Kart where he was playable (in Mario Kart : Double Dash!!), I like the Koopas(Paratroopa and Koopa), but also Bowser Jr. and King Boo (probably Petey included.), but mostly him. Mostly because of his appearance, and once again, I prefer when I can play with him. I can say that I am really interested about the Koopas (which are Koopa, Paratroopa, Dry Bones, Hammer Bro (all of them), Bowser Jr, Koopa Kid, Lakitu, Buzzy Beetle...) and the Boos (Boo and King Boo), as well as the Goombas, Shy Guy and Yoshi (a little bit). I like a lot of them and it's these characters which I'm actually interested for because of how I like their appearence and all, I like the aspect of the character, it's why I like them.

But to be honest, I'm hesitating because Boo is a really close second, really close. It's just so hard to choose. You will understand that I'm interested to both of them. I could easily continue because I have a lot of favorites, from a few other games. They doesn't reflect me a lot, but I like them.

^This kinda. Except I always use my favourite characters because I like to make them win, which only makes me more determined to get 1st, though, I'm not that bothered if I'm any other position but last. :p

Ever since Rosalina's debut in Mario galaxy, I was thinking 'WOW, who's this character?' She was so elegant and beautiful and I really admired her kindness, intelligence and magical abilities. There was finally a perfect princess. Although Peach is also close to perfect, that's why I'd like to say they're secret sisters.

My other favourite character, Yoshi, is a close second. From the small roster of Mario Party 2, I played as Yoshi because it was such a fun, loveable character. I've loved Yoshi ever since. It comes in so many colours and varieties and Yoshi Story was one of the best games on the N64 IMO. Also in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I'm almost unbeatable when using Yoshi. :p
 
Yoshi became my favorite because of my friend who also liked Yoshi. :p

Ness and Lucas are also favorites, just because I loved that they were kids and had magic powers. ^___^

Ironically I can't use Yoshi in SSBB though XD
In SSBB, I simply LOVE to use Ness and Lucas. Also they have throws that kill at a reasonable percentage, which is just awesome. XD (Ness has Back-throw, Lucas has Down-Throw)
 
Plum: I just fell in love with her the verry first time I played as her. I liked her design and calm personality.

Ulala: She saved the entire universe from evil rouges by dance and help from Micheal Jackson. How bad ass was that? She was a funky and cute character and her games made me love her since they so epic and fun.

Beat: Beat was a "bad boy" he didn't let the laws stop him from doing what he loved. When I first played Jet Set Radio Future I had to play as him and he was so awesome... and not to mention I have a man crush on him...

Juliet: I haven't even played her game and yet she is a favorite. It is becuase of her design! I like her attitude and how she is a cute zombie hunter that kills zombies and makes hearts and glitter fly out of them. :p
 
I have absolutely no clue how Richard became my fave video game chara.

DK has been my favorite character since Donkey Kong 64 because the was just great, it had everything a game should have. A great and funny opening, great gameplay and storyline, introduce other members of the kong family and kremlings, very challengeing, and unique abilities. it's just game u would not expect to be fun considering that you are playing with monkeys and fighting reptiles :p
 
Coco Bandicoot (Naughty Dog Look): I love how she is wearing overalls and always carries a laptop around. I just think she looks really cool.

Polar: He is really cute!

Tail Bob-omb: It is really cute!

Princess Daisy: I like the colours orange and yellow so I think she looks cool in her outfits.

Pura: He is really cute!
