How do you like the new party point system?

me i like the new party point system its a really good idea but the only thing that bugs me is that its really hard to earn a lot of them unless you play story mode alot so if you like the new party point system or you dnot like feel free to tell me and give me your opinion.

It beats the MP8 system where you just got points for minigames, I thought that was so dumb.

I just wish you got more party points for in-party mode minigames/captain events/boss battles.

But yeah it's actually pretty good, but things to purchase are quite expensive XP

I was hoping that adding 50 mini-stars as handicap would help boost the party points earned, but it doesn't :'(

I did this yesterday, added 50 to everyone, and ended up with 128 mini-stars, but I only received 78 party points! Worth a try though!

It's kind of cheating, though. Same thing doesn't work with stars in Mario Party 6.

Anyway, it's a good concept, better than other kind of systems. But like H-J said, I do wish you could earn more than just how many mini-stars you got. It's basically the same idea from Mario Party.

I really liked the new Party Points system. it is a new way to purchase unlockables. I got all of the rewards and reached the maximum number of party points possible--9,999!

  You should have gotten more Party Points for the minigame modes.  10 was just too few.  It was just meh.  They were obviously trying to extend re-playability by adding Constellations!  It just seemed like it took too long to amass P.Ps.  Thank you jungle Ruins though!

It's based too much on luck. I prefer wandering around the map trying to get the stars.

I like it, it works for what they were going for, I just wish it wasn't as luck based as it is. Or with all the obstacles that make you lose 1/2 your mini-stars, those can leave, forever.

You can always shoot fireworks in the sky, it's not completely pointless at all.
