I can see those spaces. They make sense to me.
For a preview of the new spaces, along with reduxes of old spaces (they're small for a number of reasons) - a grand total of 16:
:blue: :red: :green: :lucky: :friend: :duel: :bowser: :dk: :back: :chance: :miracle: :warp: :battle: :gguy: :kkid: :bank:
The aim of the small size is to reduce the number of rows/width for the menu button strip, partly due to Chubbo's prefering the old SMPSF size buttons.
The spaces are available for use in the smileys popup (click [more] in the post dialog box)
(These ones are 25x25px. I can also upload a33x33px version of these if you absolutely want them.)

I liked the arcade. It was where I spent most of my time when I was younger*.

Oh, the spaces are so cute and the size is okay, I don't have any problem with it.H-J カービイ said:

It would definitely be better than the big bulky ones we have now.
These are much better in my opinion. Go for them.
I like them. They're much better.
Those are much better than the current ones. Nice job.
No, they suck. Go chop off your head. D:<<
