Super Mario Galaxy Released on Japanese Wii U eShop

The original Super Mario Galaxy from 2007 has been re-released for the first time on the Wii U eShop in Japan. The classic Wii title will eat up 3.7GB of storage, and there is no word on a release in other regions. Let’s hope it’s coming soon!

I almost cried when watching the trailer. It’s my childhood as a video ;^;

I’m not the biggest fan of the Mario Galaxy games, but this is a good thing. Really hoping to see Sunshine soon though. Having it on eshop would be neat, but perhaps, skipping it just means they’re working on a remake/remaster which would be even better. Then again, it’s just a kid’s dream and guess.

This just leaves Super Mario Sunshine (not counting Super Mario 64 DS) the only Super Mario game where you collect 120 Shine Sprites not playable on the Wii U.
