Mario Kart 8 took the Nintendo Direct spotlight once again by revealing the Animal Crossing track for the upcoming DLC Pack #2, along with a release of April 23. In addition to the DLC, an update will be released the same day that adds new Amiibo costumes for the following characters:

- Toad
- Wario
- Villager
- Rosalina
- Bowser
- Olimar
The April 23 update will also add a brand new mode. 200cc will allow players to race even faster than before, giving players the opportunity to use new shortcuts and new strategies!
